According to Media24flashnews Team USA, The US President Donald Trump has suggested relocating two million Palestinians from Gaza, dismissing that number as a “very small number of people.” He claimed that Palestinians would be better off living in other locations, asserting that there are “parcels of land” in Jordan, Egypt, and “someplace else” where they could live “happily and very safely.”
Trump argued that Palestinians’ attachment to Gaza stems from a lack of alternatives. According to Trump, “They only want to be in the Gaza Strip because they don’t know anything else, they’ve never had an alternative.”
He further stated, “They are being killed there at levels that nobody has ever seen – no place in the world is as dangerous as the Gaza Strip.”
The former president also claimed, “not one person” wants to stay in Gaza, contradicting reports from Gazans expressing their desire to remain in their homeland. Trump’s remarks come amid ongoing discussions about the future of Gaza and potential solutions to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
When questioned about the widespread concern among experts in international law that his plan constitutes ethnic cleansing, Trump responded, “We are moving them to a beautiful location.” This statement has drawn criticism from human rights advocates and international legal scholars who argue that forced displacement violates international law and constitutes a grave breach of human rights.
