As Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate for the Labour Party, came at the Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference, he was greeted with a warm and enthusiastic reception by the attendees.

Peter Obi went in while the other lawyers were clapping and cheering; some of them yelled their approval of his candidacy, which was mostly criticized by the rival party for lacking organization.
Atiku Abubakar, who is running for president under the banner of the People’s Democratic Party, was also present at the ceremony.
Kashim Shettima, who is running for vice president on the ticket of the All Progressives Congress and is also present at the event to represent Bola Tinubu, who is running for president on the ticket of the party.
There is also the Governor of the State of Plateau, Solomon Lalong, as well as the Governor of the State of Edo, Godwin Obaseki.
Moyosore Onigbanjo, the Attorney General of Lagos State, is here to represent Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the state, and Kazeem Alogba, the Chief Judge of Lagos State, is also here today.
Chimamanda Adichie, a Nigerian author who has won numerous awards, will deliver the keynote address at the event.
